On draught at Barley's Smokehouse. This brew pours a clear dark golden color with a medium thin bone white head that has decent retention. Thin rings of lacing. The aroma is caramel and earthy malt wuth a touch of hops. Light, clean body with flavors of malt, citrus and mild hops. The finish is fruity with a light hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

Served on tap at Barley's Smokehouse.

Appearnce: Fading, white head. Bright golden, with highlghts from the carbonation.

Smell: Malt and noble hops. Saaz, maybe.

Taste: Smooth, refreshing. Mostly malt, but the hops are there. Balanced and clean.

Mouthfeel: Smooth and crisp. Light, but still all there.

Drinkability: Very drinkable. Extremely enjoyable on a hot day with a light lunch.

Very good Helles. This is a very difficult beer style to make well. Barley's has hit the mark.

I took a growler home.

A - Comes out a bright golden / straw color and crystal clear. Head was decent and topped out at just over an inch. The head did disappear pretty quick. Lacing was just not happening.

S - Aroma is light overall. Some grain stays out front and is quickly followed by some biscuit and pale malt aromas. There is some hops that show up on the tail end but they are very faint.

T - Smooth and sweet pale malt flavors reach the palate first followed by honey. Some grain and mild spice pop up midway through. The hops are still in a distant backround and really just seem there to back up the malt sweetness.

M - Medium bodied with good carbonation. Crispness stays throughout the beer. Finish is mostly sweet.

D - Drinkability is pretty good. The Bombshell Blonde is quite refreshing with a low amount of alcohol and good taste. That makes for a good combonation in my book. Recommended to anyone looking to have a lighter beer.
