Barley's Chocolate Oatmeal Stout

This is the beer I went straight for at Barley's Real Ale Fest. Im not sure if this will be brewed again and show up on taps at the smokehouse or what. I certainly hope so.

A- Black but some clarity is noted. Some deep red highlights around the edges. The head is dense but fades down. Some how it still manages to leave lacing even though there is barely any foam left.

S- Wow really nice. It does smell like granola or oatmeal cookies. Lots of oats, raisins, roasted nuts, chocolate chips.

T- Starts out sweet and oaty like a chocolate chip oatmeal cookie with raisins. The finish is really roasty and bitter. This hurts it a bit for me. It leaves you with lots of bittersweet cocoa.
