Tasted by 100ml (on the house) it was the fifth beer tasted at this mock brew-pub (i.e. beers are actually not brewed at the premise). Served by a tap behind the bar.
A: pours a dark orangey amber hue (unlike any Vienna Lager Ive tried ), rather murky; a very thin white head dissipates fast, on top of low carbonation.
S: grassy Saaz to pair with grainy maltiness and very mild cane-sugary sweetness Simply sweet, lacking complexity and any essential note that a Vienna Lager should have.
T: rather rich and dense caramelised sugar and melted barley candy come in abundance, leading towards a light and soothing bitter-sweetness mixed of hops and pale ale malts, whereas the finish is cut short prematurely.
M&D: softly carbonated, but the texture and body are both too light to be enjoyable. Given a quite simplistic flavour profile and almost non-existence of any typical characters of a Vienna Lager, I have to say that this is at best a very brave (albeit not enjoyable) experimental attempt by the brewer.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
