Had this a couple months ago, forgot to add the review...

Mostly clear dark amber with a thin head that sticks around as a patchy sheet. Juicy, citrusy aromas...heavy on the grapefruit pulp. Grapefruit and melon hoppiness, sugary sweet, with lingering fruit juice and a moderate bitterness. The aftertaste is like I've just had an orange. Solid medium body, fine carbonation, and a slightly drying finish. Tasty...

Picked up a growler at Horniblow's and popped it shortly after getting home and poured into a Duvel tulip. Hard pour delivers a crisp dark orange with an abundant off-white head that diminishes to a thin layer and leaves spotty lacing. Aroma is a nice amount of citrus hops with a touch of pine just overpowering the sweet malts. The taste is a decent amount of pine hops with caramel and brown malts right behind, decent, but a little off in my opinion. As it warms, however, the flavors do a great job of blending together. The beer is medium bodied with a decent carbonation but bitterness that is slightly on the harsh side. This is certainly an enjoyable IPA, but Big Boss has done much better.
