Appearance: Arrives in a snifter with an inch of foam capping the hazy garnet liquid
Smell: Tart cherries, oak and red wine grapes
Taste: Up front, the sour cherry and Merlot grapes provide a vinous opening, with the oak adding depth in the middle; the tartness builds both before and after the swallow, with the finish building on the red wine dimension
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation; puckery
Overall: Very excited to see a sour of this quality brewed in North Cackalack; this needs to be bottled and deserves special release consideration
