Copenhagen 19/1 2017. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Østerfælled Torv, Kbh. Ø. Not surprisingly an outline of a fat Hippo on the label. Seems to be brewed "exclusively" for a chain producing greasy burgers. Their motto is "Good Food, Messy Fingers, Juicy Burgers". I could go for that.
Pours clear pale yellow with a small white head. Settles as a flimsy layer of foam. Lacing on the side of the glass.
Aroma is fruity and citric. Sweet peach with a touch of grapefruit. Slightly sharp.
Light carbonation and slightly thick palate. Lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is lightly sweet and quite dominated by a strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and lingering.
Nice bitter brew - I wonder how it goes with an exceptionally greasy burger.
