Copenhagen 3/12 2016. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Østerfælled Torv, Kbh. Ø. Lots of Christmas stars and ornaments in red on the label.
Pours clear red amber with a yellowish head. Settles as a fine thin layer of foam. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is sweet caramel, butterscotch and light notes of citrus. Light carbonation and slightly thick palate.
Flavor is prominently sweet but partly balanced by a medium strong bitterness.
A bit on the sweet side - but a nice beer if you are not going for a full six-pack. With an ABV of 7,0 that could get a bit messy anyway.

500 ml bottle, from Ales By Mail. ABV is 7%, IBU 52. Chestnut to mahogany colour, moderate off-white head. Aroma of ripe red and dark fruits, hints of rye bread and bitter orange marmalade, also lightly roast malts. The flavour has moderately roast malts, mild coffee, rye bread and earthy and orangey hops. Reasonably good beer.
