Copenhagen 23/10 2017. 50 cl bottle from Kvickly. Quite chaotic green label with Clown Faces, Scissors, Bicycles and a Dog with a Top Hat.
Pours dark brown with a red hue and light brown head. Settles as thin layer of foam covering the surface of the beer.
Aroma is a little subdued and on the sweet side. Dark chocolate, vanilla and caramel with a boozy whiff.
Light carbonation and thick oily palate.
Flavor is strong and heavy sweet without being cloying. Aftertaste is a little sugary with bitter notes.
Certainly dark - but not particularly insane. But it manages to hide the fairly high ABV pretty well so you might not realize that you are about to go insane due to intoxication before it's too late.
