True brown ale with a malty biscuit body and a herby resinous pine aroma.
Malts - Pale, Munich, Rye, Amber, Choc, Melanoidin.
Hops - Columbus, Simcoe.

Copenhagen 3/2 2017. 50cl bottle from Meny. Typical Allendale mosaic in reddish brown on the label. Pretty cool design.
Pours clear reddish brown with a small white head. Settles as a thin layer of foam barely covering the surface. Moderate lacing though.
Aroma of sweet caramel, nuts, citrus and coffee. Not overwhelming nutty but really nice.
Soft carbonation and medium thick palate.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a more pronounced bitterness. Bitter aftertaste. Lingering.
A Brown Ale which suits my taste. Well balanced with a bitter edge.
