Brewed with masses of whole leaf hops and double dry hopped for a big tropical fruit aroma.
A style first brewed on the US West Coast, a Double or 'Imperial' IPA uses twice the hops of a regular IPA. It's these hops, balanced by the strength and body, that give this beer it's immense flavour and character.

Copenhagen 24/11 2016. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Østerfælled torv, Kbh. Ø. Typical ornamental label in gold from Allendale which assures me I have bought a beer of "Great Taste". Nice to know.
Pours clear golden yellow with a big white head. Stable. Settles as a thin almost transparent layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing on the side of the glass.
Aroma of citrus, grape fruit, fermented fruit and some sweet exotic fruit. Mango and overripe peach. Lemon and lime.
Light carbonation and a slightly thick palate. Lightly tingling texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by nice pronounced bitterness. Lingering in the aftertaste. Semi dry finish.
The alcohol is present without being intrusive. It is actually "Great".
