Solid and licorice-black with a tan, camel head. Gorgeous aroma of mellow orange oil and dark chocolate layered atop earthier undertones of smoke and charred malts. Comparison to Terry's chocolate oranges are inevitable, but to me it is more like a chocolate orange cake. Outstandingly fruity and rich, full of orange marmalade, coffee, and the bitterest cocoa. A bit cola-like with a hint of toasted coconut, though this is more bitter than sweet, especially in the faintly sour finish. Milky soft mouthfeel is just right. A lovely, unusual stout!
