On Cask at the Baltic Fleet, Liverpool, UK, December 2014:

This is perhaps the best English Bitter that I have ever had. The beer was clear, slightly darker amber color that produced a nice, dense white head that was creamy and very well retained. The beer had a lighter aroma, as expected, but gave off a slight biscuit aroma. The taste of the beer was very well balanced and also had a slight biscuit taste to it. The beer was light, smooth, and extremely easy to drink. This is an outstanding beer.

I had this on tap in both The Wheatsheaf (Irby) and The Fox and Hounds (Barnston) on the Wirral, Merseyside recently.

The appearence was a nice pale golden colour with a slight haze. Nice white head; not very big, but lasting.
Smell was a delicious slightly sweet hops. Taste confirmed that this was a nicely hopped bitter (almost a Pale Ale, in fact). And at 3.8% ABV, this is a REAL session ale. Maybe more for the summer than the winter, but I could drink this all day!
