Thanks to RobBeer for bringing this beer all the way to Japan.
Packaged in clear bottle. Filled to the top. Hazy honey body and pure white healthy head. -1 point on appearance for being in a clear bottle.
Initially smelled skunk, so I let it sit for a bit. Still smelled a little skunky, damned clear bottles.
Strong malty flavor initially, without much sweetness. None of the citrus noted on the label of the beer (maybe those notes went when the skunk came in). Bold hoppyness.
Full bodied beer with long lasting flavor.
This tastes like a great beer destroyed by some clever idea to put it in a clear bottle.
