We call it our session lager with good reason: light on the palate, subtly hopped, with a sweet, biscuity malt finish. The Hawkstone Session is not just easy-drinking, but it's also incredibly moreish.

330 ml bottle, from Left Field Beer, England. ABV is 4.0%. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma of grain and pilsener malts, hints of herbal hops. Citric mouthfeel. Refreshing flavour, fairly crisp and dry, pilsener malts and herbal hops, a hint of citrus, moderate bitterness.

Half pint at The Fat Cat. Clear golden pour, lasting fluffy white head. Grainy, bready aroma. Taste is malty, biscuity with a mild sweetness. Very smooth.
