Half pint served by handpump into imperial half pint glass at the Cloister Bar in Edinburgh
A- Concetrated apple juice gold with a 1 finger sudsy head that reduces to a crown. Lacing is a average.
S- Very strong hop profile, a sharp strong cheddar cheese note, hint of cucumber like freshness
T- Hops very upfront and biting but subdued compared to what i was prepared for from the smell. Not abrasive, fades a bit quickly in the end. Malts are minimal, a hint of grain.
M- A bit full and sticky, low carbonation
D- With a strong hop profile i would like this to be more refreshing but with the mouthfeel its just too sticky on the tongue. If a bit lighter and a slight increase in carbonation this would be a sessionable ale.
