This is a newer brew from Youngs, and my expectations were not that high for it. This is a very dark orange coloured brew with a very hoppy, west-coast, type of aroma. The taste is also very pac-nw in style with the hops taking the foreground. For an export lager, this tastes a lot like a west coast IPA or pale ale to me! The mouthfeel is nice and crisp and the drinkability is imminently good. A new classic from Youngs!?

This was a cask-conditioned beer on tap at a pub called the Spread Eagle in London. The beer was a nice golden color. It had a little head, with not much carbonation to it. There was a slight hop aroma to it. There was also a similar mild hoppiness to the taste. This had a good bit more of a malty body than your typical lager. Very smooth. I'm guessing that it is very different in bottles than on tap, based on other reviews of this beer that I have seen.
