Appearance: Pure white head, amber orange hazy-transparent body.
Smell: Hops right off the bat followed by a home made bready aroma.
Taste: Slightly sweet initially, followed by big caramel flavors. Medium bitterness. This is primarily a malty beer that has an excellent amount of hop balance. The bitterness stays all the way through to the nice long finish.
Mouthfeel: Feels bottle conditioned with nice prickly bubbles.
Drinkability: The initial sweetness disappears very quickly and the lush bitterness keeps me coming back for more.

Bottle conditioned. This ale is nice and dark in colour with a cream to off-white head that has a moderate lifespan. Lacing is average. The aroma is warm and slightly fruity, but mainly hoppy in character. The taste is Typical for a bottle conditioned beer: nice and malty, slightly wheaty and barley tones, with a yeasty aftertaste. Young's have produced a good beer here, but I would protest that after a couple it would become quite heavy and undrinkable.
