Purchased a six pack of bottles at meijer 2/13/2022, no bottled date anywhere on the bottles or caps, no way to tell how old this is…it does not taste great, not terrible but okay.

It pours a nice Cooper golden color with a large foamy head with good staying power, nice lacing also. The smell is mild citrus sweetness to it. The taste is well balanced, little tart at first then goes into a mild sweet taste. The body is medium and very smoboth to drink. Overall a good drink, a little above average.

When I purchased this single bottle I could see the sediment, not sure if that is normal or what so I gave it a lower score. Other than that it was a fairly good beer. Color was nice . Smelled amazing in a pint glass. Taste was mighty fine! Easy to drink. Crisp taste in the dry hopped department. Overall a good beer I could have more than one of in a sesssion.

I picked up a bottle of Tri City's Intergalactic Jack last week for $1.99 at The lager Mill. I've always just missed out on this beer when I've seen it on tap, and I'm interested to see how it turns out, so lets see how it goes. 2015 Vintage. Poured from a brown 12oz bottle into a imperial pint glass.

A- The label looks nice, it goes well with the name and it's just a little eye catching. It poured a nice orange color that took on more of an amber color when held to the light with a finger and half worth of bubbly off white head that died down to a thin ring that stayed till the end and it left a little bit of spotty lacing behind. This is a pretty nice looking Pale Ale, i have no complaints.

S- The aroma starts off with a higher amount of medium sweetness with the hops being the first to show up and they impart a nice mixture of fruity aromas with some nice tropical fruit and citrus rind aromas showin up along with some mango and a little bit of green hops. Up next comes a light cardboard off aroma that isn't wanted and it's followed by the malts which mainly impart a sweet malt aroma that's a little too sweet. This beer has a decent aroma, the hop profile is pretty nice, but the high sweetness and cardboard off aromas holds it back.

T- The taste seems to be similar. but it doesn't have any off cardboard aspect to it this time and it starts off with a higher amount of medium sweetness with the hops being the first to show up and it imparts all those nice aspects that it did in the aroma, with the green hops showing up just a little more this time. Up next comes the sweet malts which are a little toned down from how they were in the aroma and it's followed by just a light bready and pale malt flavors. On the finish there's a slightly higher amount of medium bitterness with the those nice galaxy hops taking of the aftertaste. This is a nice tasting beer, but I wish the green hop flavors and sweetness were toned down a little.

M- Fairly smooth, pretty crisp, medium bodied with a higher amount of medium bitterness. This beer has a nice mouthfeel that works well with it.

Overall I thought this was a nice beer and a slightly above average example of a Pale Ale, it almost was average, but those nice hop aspects helped save it a little. This beer had nice drinkability, I could drink a couple, but I think that would be my limit. What i like the most about this beer is the appearance, it's a pretty nice looking beer. What I like the least about this beer is the beer is the off aroma and the higher amount of sweetness, those both need some work. I might buy this beer again and I wouldn't turn one down. I can't say it's a must try, but if you really like galaxy hops I think it's worth taking a chance on. All in all I was a little impressed with this beer, I haven't had good look with the last few new beers I've had from Tri City's, but this one turned out to be nice, but it was still a little rough around the edges. It's not a favorite Tri City beer and it's just a little above average for the style. Nice job, but a little more work and this could be a pretty good beer.
