Advertised as a Hazelnut Porter
A: Deep, dark (slightly opaque) brown color. Poured a 1 finger creamy light brown head that slowly dissipated. Laced in think rings
S: Nuts and sweet roasted malts. A bit of a bitter sting.
T: Distinct bitter-sweetness of hazelnuts really comes through prominently. Slightly smokey dark-roasted malts. Pleasing lightly biter finish
M: Medium to full body. Smooth and creamy with just the right bitterness in the finish to ready the palate for more.
D: Fairly drinkable for a big flavorful malty beer. Great for the holidays.
