I'm long-time beer drinker turned connoisseur/now long time brewer so I know good beer, and this brew has the kind of overall quality that really gives credence to the whole craft of a brewmaster. That's the cheesy intro, but the sum of it is this westcoast/bright ipa pours a majestic medium orange hue with little head upon pour, but as u drink the carbonation seems to grow/increase in a bass-ackwards kinda way. The glow and clarity to this thing is righteous. So is the smell. I'd call it a two-hearted clone if it weren't significantly better. Brighter, less dry, the grapefruit fiddles with near pineapple balance of sour sweetness. This brew is incendiary!! Maybe top 5 brew out of a bunch. I met the brewer once.. I've met many brewers. Talked to him outside a grocery store. After testing this creation I'm going to the brewery to tell him to quit-it, I can't have a beer this good so close to my backdoor. I'd never had a brew from Mbbc till today though. He hasn't been legal for too long and this product(his brews in general rt now) must still b hard to find . this is the first time I saw one from mbbc at a local tap room. I visited today(Heaven and Ale- thanks for suggestion Joe).. I wonder if there is a keg of this that I can get a hold of and take to mantrip cause this stuff is the shizdiddyshazbot of unknown American craft brews. Very, very good. Now excuse me, I have to go up the street and talk to this guy like and old black dog with a white face looking for the backdoor(just got back actually, they're closed and nobody around. There's always tomorrow. Not to toot my own horn...i can make a brew this good.. But I fancy myself a really good brewer too, but only 1 or 2 of the 100 or so allgrain batches I've done could have scored tasted this fantastic... I'd be cool with living on this 9 months of the yr.. Local treat. Seek it out will surely be gone in ni time, hopefully this brewery grows and makes this their more accessible flagship.. Its good, dam& good. One hell of a first impression, now what else ya got?
