Appearance: Underneath the smallish, ivory-hued head is a clearish, darkened amber body.
Smell: Sweetish, upfront whiffs of toast topped with caramel squares followed by hop notes of citrus fruits and meadow flowers. For all the hop character packed into the taste, the nose comes across as a bit meek.
Taste: Pale malts with a good degree of toastiness and caramel sweetness. Hops surge the tongue with tastes of flowers, lemon, pineapple, and earthy grassiness. Firmly bitter. The dubbed Super Galena hops guide you to the dry, pithy, longly bitter finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: It's pretty good, though the audaciously bold hop character and bitterness would keep me at a one pint maximum.
