Bottle. Little tan head. Black in color. Thick.
Sweetness from the cognac. Grapes and dark fruits. Orange and molasses. Caramel and chocolate. Heavy stout with a great barrel flavor. One of struises better beers imo. Nice drinkability for 13%

Poured from fridge temp, but allowed to warm over a couple of hours. Pours PITCH black with zero carbonation. Truly incredible to look at. Nose is so inviting. Huge chocolate, fudge, vanilla, and cognac. There is a nice amount of roasted malts and marshmallow as well. This is world class, and I just want to keep smelling it! Taste is amazing. Super strong cognac up front, lots of chocolate, licorice, coffee, vanilla, and toffee. Amazing. Not much bitterness at all. Definitely some alcohol heat, as expected. This is fantastic. Mouthfeel is nice and creamy. Maybe little bit thinner than expected, but still robust.
