Thanks, Trey!
A very hazy orange with a dense, off-white head with good retention and lacing, this looks solid. The nose smells, eh, off. Tart and lactic with a moderate citrus and papaya note, this is an interesting blend of fruity hops and unintentional tartness. The palate opens sour with a noticeable passionfruit and unripe kiwi acidity, a moderate green hop character. Bitterness is mild, malt character is rich but taken over by the acidity. Lactic and yogurt-like, this beer is medium-light in body, has a wonderfully soft and silken carbonation level but ultimately, not even remotely close to style. In some ways, it reminds me of the old bottles of HotD Ruth you'd find, where the infection made it a completely different beer.
