I had this beer at the Borefts beerfestival in september 2012. From notes. This is a 9 ABV Wheat ale bourbon barrel aged. A very nice blond beer with lots of freshness and a relly nice smell. You can feel the wheat in this beer and that made it very special to drink!

I had this multiple times at Borefts .
Due to the format it was difficult to get a proper head on this. It was a deep golden hue.
I found it hard to compare this to anything else, I'd say closes to a barleywine, but not really. The bourbon barrel was perfect, just the right amount to let charecter of the base beer show thru.
The sweet maltiness gave a slightly heavy viscous mouth feel which was also perfect for this beer. This was one of the highlights of the festival IMHO
