Deep brown and opaque in color with a minor amount of head.
Smell is spice, molasses, sugar, and booze.
Taste is chocolate, booze, oak, rum, molasses and maybe licorice. Alcohol warming on the finish.
Mouthful is medium with medium carbonation.
Overall this beer seems a bit disorganized and rough but nonetheless very drinkable.
