Our Global Kolsch™ refermented with 10% Pinot Noir juice extracted from the skins using the saignee method traditional to making Rose. Fruity grape notes, crisp Kolsch character, and an oaky mouthfeel make this a unique beer. Thanks to Holdrdge Wines for the juice!

Brown in color with a fingernail of off white around most of the rim. Aroma is of faint sweet, yet dry Pinot Noir grapes. I’m tasting Pinot Noir and light malt. The mouth is very light and refreshing. There’s a lot of flavor and aroma but it doesn’t bludgeon your senses.

Had this on 2015-06-28 at the brewery on tap.
Nice blend of a sweet Kolsch and Pinot juice. The oak and vinous flavors blend well with the base beer. Perfect after hiking in the Armstrong Redwood Forest and driving here through miles and miles of vineyards.
