Delicious. Intense hop flavor, syrupy with a nice alcohol kick. Very impressed.

A: Unmistakable major Funk up front, followed by barnyard aromas and lots of hops
A: Clear, amber color with almost no carbonation
F: Sour and overpoweringly acidic, a touch of hop bitterness on the finish. Strong acidic flavors overpowers everything else, even the hops. The nuances from the hops and barrel gets lost
M: Medium thin mouthfeel with medium carbonation
O: I love Cuvee de Bubba. I love hops. I love sours. So in concept, I had super high hopes for this beer. Disappointingly the sour/acidic notes overpowers everything else, including the barrel and hops. Definitely underwhelmed and slightly disappointed, given the deliciousness of Cuvee De Bubba.
