On tap at Bear Republic Brewing Company in Healdsburg, CA.
Pours a hazy gold with a foamy bone head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Foamy rings of lace line the glass on the drink down. Smell is slightly sour with citrus fruit, tropical fruit, funk, acidic, and wood aromas. Taste is much the same with slightly sour citrus fruit, tropical fruit, funk, white wine, and wood flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of bitterness and acidity on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, this is a very good beer with a nice mix of funk and hops that make this one tasty and super easy to drink.

On-tap 1/17/2016 at Natty Greeneās Tavern in North Attleboro, MA, served in a tulip glass.
A: The beer is a deep amber color, with a short off-white head that fades slowly and leaves a thin lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains oak, citrus, some hops and caramelized malts.
T: The taste starts out very sweet with strong flavors of fruity citrus and caramel that are enhanced by the oak aging essence. Then a subdued hops bitterness comes in. The malt character is hearty and provides a very good balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet.
M: Crisp and very smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.
O: Very tasty, goes down easily, not too filling, well-disguised kick, good representation of style, this is a very good beer to drink for a while.
