On tap at O'Briens
This beer was served with very low carbonation. It is a mahogany brown colored brew with virtually no head. Hop aroma is minimal. Mild caramel and chocolate aroma. On the tongue there is a nice pleasing maltiness with quite a bit of chocolate and some caramel too. On the earthy side like other English bitters. Smooth and clean. Light to medium bodied. Very drinkable. Definitely has characteristics of a brown ale, but I think you could call this a bitter, too. Plenty of overlap.
Overall: very nice session ale.
