A: Piney, citrusy, hops, light sweet malt, followed by a moderately sharp sourness.
A: Golden color, totally clear, with a small white head that has decent retention. There is very light lacing in the glass.
T: Resiny, citrusy hops upfront, followed by a light, sticky malt sweetness. There is a moderately strong hop bitterness that finished off by an abrasive sourness.
M: Full bodied with moderate carbonation.
O: Harsh; wow this beer is redolent of an infected American Barleywine. The strong hop bitterness does not work with the light sourness at all. This beer might have worked if they used a simple malt base, soured the beer and then dry-hopped. However adding souring bugs to a barrel aged IPA is a terrible idea in general and rarely works well.
