A golden ale kettle soured with the addition of Tartare and fruited with guava and passion fruit. Delicious fruit flavors with a sweet and tart finish.

Poured from bottle into tulip >1 finger cream colored head, no retention or lacing. Golden hazy in the glass. Tart on the nose, hints of lemon and guava. Palate follows the nose, medium tart, guava, passionfruit and a tinge of lemon. Good sharp bitterness on the finish, no residual. Easy drinking kettle sour that would work for just drinking or with food.

A: gorgeous tight white head on pale gold body — nice retention and hard to fault
S: good balance of tart and sweet with a little bit of dry biscuit/wheat
T: sweet/tart guava dominates — not a balanced beer.
M: good light body with good carb and a little bit of Syrupiness
O: too strong on the fruit in a way that doesn’t balance/blend with the beer.
12 oz bottle no date

12 ounce bottle. Pours a somewhat cloudy pale gold with a decent white head. Aroma of citrus and tropical fruits. Taste is passionfruit, guava, lemon, floral, and malt. Decent.

12oz bottle. Poured out a clear, golden color with a small, white head of foam. It smelled of sweet guava, passion fruit and caramel. Sweet and slightly tart with a caramel backbone.

L: Unfiltered appearance with a tinge of orange gleaning through. A simple pour yielded about 3 fingers of an off-white cap that dissipated with haste. Mild lace of foam on the glass.
S: I smell the guava more than passionfruit, but the overpowering grain presence makes it smell like a combo of fruit, deodorant, and locker room stank.
T: To me, it tastes like a pilsner that is brewed with said fruits. It has a lemony grain flavor that sets the stage and I do taste the guava and passionfruit. That said, the fruit combination isn't necessarily my favorite. The finish is floral with lingering bready sweetness.
F: Light in terms of body and weight, with moderate amounts of carbonation. Simple and straight-forward in the feel department.
O: The more I drink it, the more I enjoy it. It has the fruit flavor that I had hoped and I am rather enjoying it. That said, I don't feel the need to try it again. I am very glad to try. Cheers!
