22 ounce bottle poured into a tulip
A: Pours a bright golden orange with a bright white head, beer is slightly hazy, lots of lacing, good amount of carbonation, and decent retention, head is creamy and full.
A: Aromas of grapefruit peel, freshly squeezed pine needles, tropical notes like guava peel, peach skin, and mango, touch of malts on the backend, smells really nice.
T: Subtle flavors of pine needles, resin, grapefruit peel, and guava, also getting a light note of sweet tangerine/orange peel, bitterness is moderate, finish has some notes of pine, citrus peel, and tropical notes, touch of malts adds some balance.
M: Light bodied with a very dry finish, good amount of carbonation, mouthfeel is slightly smooth.
O: This drinks more like an APA or maybe even an IPA, lots of aroma, flavor, depth, and complexity, I like the trio of pine, citrus, and tropical notes on the aroma and flavor, tropical notes are not as prevalent as the pine or citrus, a solid beer for a good cause.
