On draft at Little Brown Barrel, Minersville Pa this evening.
Arrives looking splendid. Strong amber body, big slightly off white head which persists in very good form throughout leaving thick rings of lacing.
Mildly funky aroma.
Belgian yeast comes through strong, with a very light funk and some non citrus fruit.
Mouth between medium and full, finish yeasty and a hit of wood.
Overall, interesting and quite well made drink. Not the sort of thing for a session, but nice to muse over once in a while.

Bear Republic Brewing Co. "Fiat Brux"
$8/.25l glass on tap @ BRÜ Craft & Wurst, Philadelphia, PA on 9 July 2018
Look: Clear dark amber body beneath a short head of creamy off-white foam. Very good head retention and lacing.
Smell: Limited aroma. Wet earth, straw, some herbs and spice, distant fruit.
Taste: Fruity with apple and mild citrus, oaky, mineralish, spicy, earthy, leather-like. Solid bitterness. Dry, earthy, bitter finish.
Feel: Medium bodied and gently crisp.
Overall: Quite an impressive American made Belgian-style pale ale. Brett! Oak! Balance! Really nicely done.
