An epic West Coast Double IPA brewed with shovels full of Citra and Citra. Gobs of hop aroma that brings to mind citrusy grapefruit, lime, and orange, with a dry malt undertone and a pithy bitterness that invites another sip.

When you go with a single hop to showcase, you better deliver and this one sure does. Overall an excellent brew compared to other single hop offerings. In typical west coast fashion, theres a distinct sweetness that isnt overpowering. Great stuff

Pours a slight hazed golden color with nice head and lacing. Smell is fruity and malty. Taste has topical citrus fruits of oranges and grapefruit balanced in the end with baked bread caramel malts. Mouth feel is sweet with some pine bitterness ,this tasted good.

Pours a light translucent orange with a small white head and lacing.

A just opened can smells of piney hops. Once in the glass it tastes and smells of citrus and pineapple. Sips finish with a mild mix of sweet and bitterness. The alcohol hides well.

Medium body and carbonation. Light clean dry mouthfeel.

This is a very pleasant drinkable, mild mannered but nuanced brew with a kick.

From a 2-month old can that likely spent it's entire life sitting on an open shelf unrefrigerated.
A - Golden orange with a decent finger-wide head that lasted the duration. A mixture of coarse and fine bubbles on the head with streaming carbonation.

S- grapefruit, orange marmalade, honey on the nose.

T- taste follows smell. Can mentions lemon on the palate, but I got none of it. Perhaps if it were fresher!?

Mouth feel - medium

Overall- a solid WCIPA that perhaps would have blown my socks off had it been fresher. Won't be seeking out again, but wouldn't turn one down if offered at a party or bar.

16oz can. Poured out a clear, golden orange color with a good-sized, khaki-colored head of foam. It left sudsy trail of lace on the glass. It smelled of citrus, grapefruit, pineapple and caramel malt. Sweet tropical fruit taste with caramel, toffee and a piney bitterness.

Pours a handsome clear yellow with thick piles of foam in the Leute Bokbier glass. Thick body, sweet, and lushly carbonated. Highly aromatic with citrus peel, lime, and a whiff of grapefruit. Flavors of orange juice, marmalade, and pineapple. Sharp edge, and just bitter enough.

Clean, aromatic aftertaste with a whiff of alcohol. Finally, a DIPA with balance among the sugar, the bitter, and acidity — and no gunky murk. This is an eminently drinkable— ah, sippable— powerful brew. From the 16 oz can purchased at Bine & Vine.
