Poured a slightly hazy dark straw hue with a half fing foamy white head. There was good retention and decent retention.

The smell featured a peppery hop with some pale malt sweetness. Adjuncts? Perhaps.

The taste consisted a vibrant grassy and citric hop and grainy malt.

The mouthfeel was full for the style.

Overall a superior hop driven lager. Very quaffable considering the abv.

Website info: Crafted in the style of pre-prohibition American pilsner, this lager is brewed with a blend of two row barley malt, pilsner malt, and good old American corn. Floral hop character comes from the exclusive use of American Liberty hops. Golden straw colored with thick white foam and a mild hop profile, this beer is light enough to complement any meal, but big enough to be noticed.

Appears a pale golden with a bright white creamy head forms nice thick head and dwindles at the average speed. Lacing was nice speckled throughout each sip.

Aromatics offered up a nice cooked veggie tone with some citrus hops overall the beer was easy going. Nothing aggressive.

Flavor has ample sweetness a touch of creamed corn my wife said this is too hoppy to be this light and she said it was a light beer with a lot of flavor. The liberty hops gave it a nice citrus herbal flow with the creamed corn tone not killing the experience it went extremely well with the spicy foods at Mad Mex. I wish it was happy hour I couldn't justify six bucks a pint. At 3 dollars I could drink a few of these.

Mouthfeel light bodied easy going. Smooth creamy carbonation nothing too heavy or too light not to be like a bud light commercial but that's what I experienced.

Drinkability was great like I said especially since it complemented the food options so well. Great Pre Pro Pils I stand by their description I lover Bear Republic.
