On tap at Bear Republic Brewing Co
A: Pours slightly hazy copper brown with a frothy tan head that hangs around as a thick layer and leaves plenty of nice lacing.
S: Herbal, pine, grassy, citrus, tropical and stone fruit, big toasty bready malt, and toffee sweetness.
T: Mix of citrus, tropical, and stone fruit, grilled pineapple, passion fruit, peach, apricot, orange, grapefruit, mango, lemon and lime, spicy pine, slight grassy herbal notes, toasty bready malt, and toffee sweetness.
M: A little on the fuller side of medium body, carbonation, slightly creamy.
O: The color definitely threw me for a loop when it was first poured. Was expecting the usual juicy hazy thing, instead got a kinda modern take on a Red IPA. Really nice balance and flavor combo.
