Pours a hazy golden color with a sticky white foam head. Aroma has herbal, piney and some tropical notes. Some malty notes present. A nice piney tropical flavor profile. Mellow bitterness and a clean finish.

Bottle poured into a Bear Republic Brewing Co pint glass
A: Pours golden amber with a frothy pale khaki head that settles to a light layer and laces very nicely.
S: Pine, earthy herbal notes, floral, citrus, tropical and stone fruit with hints of white grape and melon, bready malt, and a touch of caramel sweetness.
T: Opens with resinous pine and underlying earthy herbal notes, followed with tropical and stone fruit, pineapple, white grape, peach, apricot, passion fruit, mango, and a touch of melon, citrus, lime, lemon, and tangerine, a bit floral, firm bready malt backbone, and a touch of caramel sweetness.
M: Medium body, moderate carbonation.
O: Kinda old school take on a Tropical IPA. I think brightening up the malt would really help this pop. Not bad, but I probably won't rush out to restock.
Tried this one a second time and the fruity side pops a bit more than the first time I tried it. Still has a pretty solid resinous and herbal side and a firm malty backbone. Not my favorite, but not bad.
