On draft at the brewpub, Healdsburg, CA.
Poured a medium copper hue with a half finger whispy white head. There was decent retention and lacing.
The smell featured a grainy pale malt with a peppery hop.
The taste consisted of an upfront sweet grainy melt with a peppery herbal hop toward the finish.
The mouthfeel was toward the fuller side if the style with a relatively dull carnonation.
Overall an interesting full bodied semi imperial
