This blond gives head. Nice amount of carbonation. Golden blond in color. Nice light malt taste to it. Not much to the hops but you can taste them. The hops are Yakima Valley. Nice clean beer. Gonna enjoy this six pack. Cheers

Poured into a shaker pint.

Beer is a straw golden color, almost white head that recedes to chunks of bubbles with decent sticky lacing.

Aroma is sweet, malty, grassy.

Taste is very malty and grassy up front with faint lemon. Subtle hops in the finish.

Mouthfeel is light and dry.

Overall, a very nice brew with subtle flavors for easy drinking. Would love this in the summer.

Golden and clear with a filmy head with little retention. Grainy aroma with some sweetness. A bit flat up front. Nice bitterness in middle and end. Good flavor, but lacking in carbonation. Flavor fades toward the end. Light mouthfeel. Average warm weather beer.

Pours a clear golden colored with a medium sized white head, that leaves a nice small white lacing.
The aroma and taste of this golden are both heavy with lemony citrus notes and hints of light hops.
Durango Golden Ale leaves a dry lemony aftertaste that's pretty decent.

This pours dark for a blonde ale--more (toasted) almond in color than golden, but it has a nice, lasting creamy head. Notes of honey and light maltiness in the bouquet, as well as a hint of grape and dough--these complexities are easily the standout aspect of this brew. The flavor is dominated by light, toasted malts--there might even be a hint of chocolate malt in there--and a little, nondescript fruitiness in the finish. Creamy mouthfeel with above-average length, though the bitter aftertaste does detract from overall drinkability.

Overall, this is an easy-drinking and somewhat undistinguished blonde ale. Neither the most interesting, most drinkable, nor most offensive offering from Durango Brewing, but it's worth a look and has the potential to be a nice "conversion" brew for macro drinkers.
