Clear medium gold with a bright white head that settles to a thin cap.
Big pine leads the nose, with a firm layer of crackery malt below. There's decent complexity to the hop component with some citric, herbal notes that come out with time.
A bit thinner than expected in the mouth. Decent malt, but not enough to balance the bitterness that's there. It's good to see an IPA that carries a good amount of bitterness, but there needs to be more balance than this for me. Flavors are pretty simple and linear, but very clean.
Mouthfeel comes across a bit fizzy due to the lack of malt. It's a good beer, and fine for a session, but not my favorite.
