I feel like your time is better served drinking a Samuel Adam’s seasonal release than this

Poured a ruby brown with no head or lacing. Light malt and spice aroma. Taste follows the nose but the flavor is a bit more pronounced. Not sure why, but I am getting a hint of cola. Al bit more hop bitterness than what I would expect. Body is light-moderate with low carbonation.

Overall I find this to be a lovely Christmas ale and better than a lot this season. Color is dark readish brown with a tan head that lingers. Smells of caramel and spice. The taste is amazingly balanced. Moderately sweet caramel malt, a hint of Christmas spice and a bit of bitterness in the finish. Lovely.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a tulip
L: Hazy copper brown pour. 2 fingers of foamy off-white head. Solid ring of lacing.
S: Malty and rich... Christmas spices and dark sugars.
T/F: Follows the nose. Caramel malts... brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Slightly spicy... medium in body. Well carbonated... finish is toffee and semi-sweet. Reasonable hop bitterness balances it out.
O: A pretty middle of the road winter warmer. Not outstanding... not bad... on par for what I expected.

On tap in Atlanta.
Good mix of winter spices, dark malts and a touch of vanilla. Lightly sweet. Rather spicy but not overdone. Nice aftertaste.
Very smooth, medium-full body. Dark brown body with a decent tan head.
Overall: good version of a spiced winter ale.

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. The appearance is a dark red color with a medium sized tan head. The aroma is a full of spice and yeast with a healthy dose of malt. The taste is a good match to the nose. A very good seasonal brew.
