You see a N.E. Style IPA, we see a careful combination of Citra hops with tropical citrus notes, and a beautifully balanced grape flavor from the Hallertau Blanc hop. You see a cloudy golden hue, we see the difference not over-filtering can make. Creator or drinker there’s at least one thing we can agree on-seeing this thing in a frosty glass is one heck of a pretty picture.

Way over carbed. Ruined any hop profile this beer might have had.

This is a nice break away from the overall haziness the NEIPA category can bring. Once again they get a lighter category beer right, this time it is a just bit cloudier. I enjoyed this one and I will be going back to it. This one stays in the IPA category with a bitter finish, but this stays cloudy and sweet at the same time.

This is a nice IPA but in no way is it a NEIPA as the can declares. Low levels of bitterness and a rather fruity flavor, with a medium body and mild carbonation.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 3/22/2018. Pours moderately hazy/cloudy golden orange/amber color with a 1-2 finger dense and rocky off white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, honey, wheat, biscuit dough, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of big tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/zest, light pepper, pine, honey, wheat, biscuit dough, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of tangerine, grapefruit, lemon, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, papaya, mango, melon, berry, citrus peel/rind, pepper, pine, honey, wheat, biscuit dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a while. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from lingering bitterness. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/bready/grainy, fairly sticky, and slightly resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 6.5%. Overall this is a delicious NEIPA! All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops and bready malt flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the modestly bitter/drying finish, never aggressive. Very juicy/dank balanced hop complexity; nice bready malt backbone, not overly sweet/heavy. A very enjoyable offering, and well made style example. Feels like Citra, Mosaic, and Amarillo hops for the most part.
