Very refreshing IPA with a nice bitter bite, sampled on tap at Atwater Brewery in Grand Rapids. Nice clear amber color with a little lingering head and spotty lacing. Smells of some bitter citrus zest hops, a little herbal hops and some malt. Tastes of some nice citrus zest hops - grapefruit, orange, lemon, pineapple - as well as fainter hints of herbal hops, caramel, biscuit and malt. Smooth thin mouthfeel, good carbonation. The amount of bitterness from the hops is just right, just offset by the malt backbone. A very enjoyable beer.
