500 ml bottle, from the Norwegian importer. Will also be available in a limited quantity at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 4.7%. Chestnut to mahogany colour, low off-white head. Aroma of malts, caramel and hints of fruity hops. The flavour is malty with some caramel and mild roasty notes, a hint of chocolate, but not really sweet, also slightly spicy, with decent hops throughout (Northdown and Nugget). Roasty and bitter aftertaste. Quite good, even interesting, and not your typical English Christmas ale.
