Pour: cask to pint glass at Magnolia Restaurant and Brewery in San Francisco, CA. Served at cellar temperature. Came to the table with almost an inch of fluffy, eggshell colored, bubbly foam which dissipated very slowly. Dark brown/red in color but completely translucent (no cloudiness) and no visible carbonation.
Nose: I found the aromas to be very faint and subtle and somewhat hoppy. I am wondering if the faintness of the aroma is a result of the lack of carbonation.
Mouth: Very weak in flavor. This beer made me pucker originally, stimulating the insides of my cheeks (just thinking about it brings that feeling back). It has a bitter swallow that doesn't last at all. This beer lacks depth and balance. I don't think I would order it again.

A new cask tapped at Rich O's Public House / Sport's Time Pizza in New Albany, In.
A nicely poured pint served at 50°F celler temp - crystel clear chestnut brown with a low soapy cap that would look at home on top of a glass of roughly poured tea. Minor lace. UK makes some good beer including this little beauty. Low hopping keeps the aroma to a minimum (unlike the Hoptimus DIPA which easily cuts thru any ambient odors).
Flavors are soft and feature a good balance that favors the malts and lets the victory malt dominate the middle. A sub threshold diacetyl never gets to the level of butterscotch.
Body is medium light.
Weak hops and low IBU's aside this cask ale finishes with enough bitterness to provide a clean end to a fasinating and very drinkable ale.
Oddly, I see no mention of this on the Wye Valley website.
