So the wife and I were bored and decided to stop here for kicks. Typical gourmet/upscale grocery store. Clean as a whistle and well lit. Smells great since they always have food cooking.

We stoppped at the bar and grabbed a pint for the long walk around the place. This a great option. Drinking a pint of craft beer while grocery shopping. I wish all stores did this. I would stop dreading the procces.

The tap selection was decent in my opinion. Life and Limb II, FFF Moloko, Os'o Hopdinger to name a few. The bottled beer selction was fair. Nothing out the ordinary for an upscale place selling craft.

The food here is amazing. Dine in options are a bit cheaper than take home groceries. So I would reccommend grabbing a sandwich or salad and eat it there.

Overall a unique if pricey place to grab a beer.

This outpost of WFM is unique, as it's the first i've been in that will growler beer from their taps (which they also do in NYC). The bar is somewhat hidden, near the back wall opposite the checkout lanes. 8 taps included Old Rasputin, Lakefront, New Glarus, Victory Prima Pils and a few others. It was connected to a BBQ "smokehouse" station, similar to the WFM Sauganash location in Chicago. I noticed someone shopping with a pint in hand, so there's that option too.

Can't miss the beer section though, there was a giant "BEER & MICROBREWS" sign set into a wall of reclaimed wood above the coolers. Most all the beer was refrigerated save for a couple of displays. US micros made up the bulk of it, quality brew from Founders, FFF, Oskar Blues, New Glarus, Ale Asylum, Lakefront Fixed Gear and Wet Hop, MKE Ale House cans, etc. Mostly full lines of sixers from each brewery. $0.99 Miller Lite singles oddly enough. High turnover, fresh seasonals, singles = high quality score.

Import selection (all singles) seemed to be just as deep as the craft section, located in the next cooler over, adjacent to the cheese and wine area. Jolly Pumpkin was stuck in with the imports oddly enough. They had Leipziger Gose vase bottles for $20, which was a bit too steep, though I wanted one. Black Albert, Rochefort, Orval, and many other quality options.

A great deal to be had by the registers... huge stack of Stone Sublimely Self Righteous on sale for $3.99 a bomber! Probably got a good deal from the distributor, as Stone is leaving the WI market.

Cheese section was great, with lots of local artisan cheese from WI producers, even one washed with NG Raspberry Tart from from Sartori (Bellavitano).

Also nearby is Beans & Barley, which does the whole organic grocery thing too, offering a small quality micro selection, with a bar & restaurant.

Stopped here today, expecting to buy some expesive groceries, found a nice cooler of beer in the back. Has most of the bigger euro macros, some mini kegs, a few Belgians, a decent supply of domestic micros, and FFF.

The prices weren't as bad as I would have expected, some in line with Woodman's. There were a few headscratchers but i though it was overall pretty reasonable.

Not really any service but the cashier was friendly.

Overall, if your looking for FFF there's some here but nothing else really out of the ordinary. It also happens to be across the street from Von Trier if you are interested in that as well. And also just a mile form the beach. Just don't go down the other way of North ave.

Went again to day, they now have 8 taps, some good quality ones too, and it looked like youcould get any of it filled in a growler to go. There was also a new belgian beer section with Cantillon, Chouffe, and 2 other brands that discount astonishingly doesn't carry.

q-an awesome store, high quality, every thing is clean and easy to find

s-did not use the service, but everyone seemed willing to help. The get paid very well i believe compared to other stores

s-large selection of beer, prob around 200, and plenty of wine, nice selection of 6 packs and also the regular macro brews

v-beer is more expensive here, but if your looking at wine, it will be cheaper because they buy in bulk

this will not be a store i go to for beer, but i need something special i may stop it, awesome seafood selection
