This beer has unretired, and it's darn tasty. It's listed as seasonal for Spring as i had it today. Yet I think it's more for autumn.

Pours a glossy, kind of sparkly brown, with a just off white head about 1 finger. Looks spicy, but I don't think I can describe it.

Smell of sweet spice, cinnamon and pumpkin...i think. It's rich in the spice category, but not overly so. Taste is about the same, but more focused on the spice, and a tad bready. Perhaps the nuttiness of a brown ale doesn't come out, but for the 'spice' style, it fits well. A very quick sharpness on the end, easy drinking. this is a delicious beer, great to pair with cheesecake or pumpkin pie

The beer pours a brown color with a thin offwhite head that fades to lacing. The aroma is great. It has a pale and crystal malt scent with loads of herbal aroma. This smells a lot like a gruit. The taste is decent. It is a mildly malty brown ale, much like their original brown except it is infused with chai herb to give it a herbal taste. The mouthfeel is good. It is a medium bodied beer with adequate carbonation. This is a decent beer. I like the herbal concept. The aroma is nice, but the drinkability is suspect if you don't like the taste is provides. This one drinks well.
