Falling Rock Tap House had this on opening day for $4/pint.
man, they were busy.
Anyway, pours a soft black, with ruby tints. medium bodied head, light brown/tan. Nice retention.
Smells like a raspberry, chocolate, coffee shake. The coffee and the chocolate battle it out for dominance, with the berry hiding in the background.
Taste is very similar. Raspberry gives it a sweet, juicy note to relax the coffee/chocolate battle. Dryness is noticeable, but for a stout, not great. Drank it in the sun, a bit hot. Probably not the best situation for it, but it was good.
