a delicious sour brew with pineapple and coconut, pretty complex really for what it is, super fruit forward but in a good way, didnt know these guys did this sort of thing, im not even sure i knew they were canning, its been awhile, but i was impressed by this, huge thanks to my buddy for bringing it to my place! the nose is insane, more canned than fresh pineapple, crushed maybe, intense and sweet with some tang of its own. the coconut is more natural, a little lotion vibe but to me in a good way, its very tropical and cohesive, equal parts of both fruits, and a lemony note from the souring, which seems relatively moderate, or at least balanced by the sweetness, mouthwatering. the flavor is money too, pineapple first, coconut second, maybe some pils malt in the middle of it too, pale wheat cereal character but kind of thin in feel, its not malty but its not just fruit either. i am also impressed with the souring, its light and clean, just tart but not real acidic and i can drink a ton of it, not at all a one and done, rare for me in this style. really tropical vibes, but not sugary in the end, quite balanced even, carbonated well, a little soda-like, but im into it. its just different in a good way, and it seems like a totally new level for them, would love to drink this one again! unexpectedly awesome.
