Full graceful tenderness, with a clean and neat taste, this ale will enchant you: matured in the bottle, exclusively obtained from pale malt, highly fermented and 100% natural. With a full-bodied flavor that still works thirst quenching, thanks to a balanced hoping. This pleasant golden ale is preferred by all who love heavier, somewhat seasoned and refreshing ale.

At my lady Pamela's house; bottled and slightly chilled, 330mL in a Teku glass. From the Huron Church Rd. LCBO in nearby Windsor. Best before April 11/28. My 2nd beer from the Mechelen, Belgium brewery, and for 2026. Perfectly admired by Sundae the cat...

Copenhagen 13/2 2016. 75 cl bottle from Meny, Østerfælled Torv, Kbh. Ø. According to the label this is part of a series that represents the Belgian flag where this one represents the yellow stripe.
Pours hazy yellow with a white head. Settles as a foamy 1 cm thick layer covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing on the side of the glass.
Aroma is fruity dominated by a tart sour scent of citrus, a little sugary sweetness and notes of yeast.
Medium strong carbonation and oily palate. Lightly tingling texture.
Flavor follows the nose. Subdued sweetness, tart fruit and yeast. Medium bitterness in aftertaste.
Nicely balanced Tripel who manages to hide the high alcohol content quite well.

Pour || Gold, slightly orange, medium foam.
Smell || Hops with tropical fruit, grapefruit, stonefruit (peach). Beautiful.
Taste || Starts off with hops and tropical fruit melded with lemon + bite of carbonation. Carbonation is mild to medium, and only is noticeable at at the start... doesn't disturb flavor in middle part of drink. Tropical fruit turns into strong wheat note, tapering off into pleasant front of tongue mild hoppy bitterness/dry-ness. Pleasant sweetness balanced by mild piney hops. Not bracing / more temperate than other trippels I've had. Not spicy or herbal, although there is some mild complementary spice, and some herbal depth lingering on tongue after finish.
Thoroughly enjoyed this. Deceptively strong (9% does not reveal itself)

Bottle poured into eponymous glass at Känguruh in Vienna. Quiet, cozy bar with unreal Belgian (and other countries) beer list. Fruity tripel. So good

Purchased from Purvis Beer in February 2025 and drunk in June of that year.
L: Hazy dark yellow with a fluffy, bright-white head. No carbonation can be seen in the glass.
S: The nose is spicy, with bitter lemon, coriander, clove, yeasty, cough drops, and nail polish.
T: The taste is spicy orange peel and bitter lemon cough drops with menthol, eucalyptus oil, and coriander. The beer has a strong, spicy kick, and doesn't shy from its 9% ABV. The spices, orange peel and bitterness linger after the swallow. With all that's going on, it remains remarkably drinkable, and I'd finished the 2.34 standard drinks' worth of beer far quicker than I should have!
M: The beer's body is rich and full, but carbonation is high, and the beer kicks all the way down.
O: A truly excellent beer!
Cheers!

Bottle 0.33L.
Hazy golden body with huge, creamy, white head, fully lasting with nice lacing.
Heavy hoppy (orange, flowers) and moderate malty (cereal, light caramel) aroma with notes of fruits (apple, peach) and alcohol related spices.
Moderate-to-heavy sweet flavour with moderate bitter and light acidic character, both of them better detected in the finish.
Medium-to-full body with oily texture; soft carbonation; moderate alcoholic warming in the finish.
